Guinness World Records has confirmed that Letizia Bufoni has set the record for the highest glide on a skateboard from the back of a flying plane. This trick brought the athlete a new success in his career.
Brazilian skateboarding champion Letizia Bufoni, 29, has set a new world record. The girl rode her skateboard behind the plane at an altitude of more than 2.7 km, and then jumped with a parachute. Reported by UPI.
Now the woman lives in Southern California. At Merced, she boarded a C-130 Hercules on her skateboard for a dangerous stunt in the air.
Bufoni mounted a nearly 10kg parachute on his back and made a slight glide with his board on a tube coming out of the back of the plane at an altitude of more than 2.7 km.

“It’s crazy to think that I was the first person to get on a skateboard and pretend in the air. I didn’t know if that was possible,” the athlete said.
Letizia worked with and mentored legendary paratrooper and Red Bull Air Force team member Geoffrey Provenzano on the project and was impressed with his abilities. She stated that she was excellent as a paratrooper and admired her quick learning. Geoffrey added that Letizia pays a lot of attention to detail and gives herself one hundred percent.
The publication states that Letizia Bufoni is the record holder for skateboarding gold medals won in X Games competitions.
