A demonstration against anti-Russian sanctions and military support for Ukraine took place in Verona, several hundred people gathered to protest in the central square of the city. This is reported RIA News.

One of the organizers of the action, the leader of the cultural association “Veneto – Russia” Palmarino Zoccatelli said that 400-500 people came to Bra Square to the ancient Roman amphitheater.

Protesters held up banners demanding the country withdraw from NATO and stop imposing sanctions on Russia.

Other posters also read “Zelensky is an actor in NATO.” Some of the participants brought the Russian flag.

In December 2022, it was reported that massive anti-NATO protests took place in France. In the center of Paris, demonstrators demanded that the government revise the anti-Russian sanctions, which have already led to inflation and an increase in the cost of energy resources in the country.
