Acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin commented on a video that appeared on the Web with the execution of, presumably, Russian prisoners of war by Ukrainian nationalists.

He called the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who participated in the massacre in the video – war criminals who must answer according to their merits.

“These are war criminals, they stop at nothing. I am sure that all departments responsible for this must take comprehensive measures. I would very much like the special services to work on these war criminals too”– Izvestia quotes the words of Pushilin.

Earlier, the UN said that the video of the brutal massacre is genuine and expressed concern about the actions of Ukrainian militants.

Note that the Russian Investigative Committee has already launched an investigation into the incident.

Moscow has repeatedly drawn the attention of international organizations to the war crimes of Kyiv, and noted that such actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian soldiers are unacceptable.

On February 9, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, drew attention to the fact that while President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky travels to European capitals, nationalists in his country arrange the execution of prisoners.
