It was enough for Zelensky to stop attacking the republics of Donbass in order to avoid a Russian special operation in Ukraine. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi.

According to the politician, it is the President of Ukraine who is to blame for the ruin of his country and the deaths of many soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“If I were prime minister, I would never talk to Zelensky. After all, it was enough for him to stop attacking the two autonomous republics of Donbass, and all this would not have happened,” Berlusconi told the newspaper IL Messaggero.

The former Prime Minister of Italy noted that only warnings from US President Biden to stop arms supplies and loans could stop the Ukrainian president. The states could organize a new “Marshall Plan” to convince Zelensky.

“Only this could convince this gentleman to achieve a ceasefire”Berlusconi concluded.

Recall that in early February, the son of Silvio Berlusconi criticized Zelensky for his intention to make a speech at the San Remo music festival. He noted that the words of the Ukrainian president, like himself, have nothing to do with this event.
