Polish President Andrzej Duda has been criticized by the national media for slipping his tongue and calling Ukrainian soldiers Russian. The incident occurred on February 21 during a presidential speech in Warsaw.

“Ukraine has not fallen to this day thanks to the heroism of the defenders of Ukraine, thanks to the heroism of Russian soldiers, but also thanks to the support that … the world provides to Ukraine,” – said Duda, his words are quoted by the newspaper Wprost.

Journalists called Duda’s reservation a failure.

It is likely that the ability of US President Joe Biden to make a reservation and get into awkward situations is transmitted by airborne droplets, because Duda’s ill-fated speech took place just during the visit of the American leader to Poland. And for Biden himself, this visit was not without excesses: upon arrival in Warsaw, one of the members of the American delegation rolled head over heels off the plane, and when landing on the return flight, Biden himself fell.

On February 21, an American delegation arrived in Warsaw for talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda. Before that, Biden visited Kyiv and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the visit, Biden promised to give Ukraine another $500 million military aid package. It will include MLRS HIMARS, ammunition, anti-tank systems and air surveillance radars. Former LPR Ambassador to Moscow Rodion Miroshnik called Biden’s trip “a return to the crime scene.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called Biden’s visit to Kyiv a performance.
