“It was my third time in Bali but I had never ordered alcohol in restaurants before. And tonight I decided to make an exception because we were celebrating a birthday. After reviewing the wine list, I decided on a decent bottle. White wine costing 1700++ rupees,” he said. Wrote Australian.
The man thought the price would be 17,000 rupees, which is about $200. He decided that it was a little more expensive than he expected, but in connection with the holiday he decided to please himself and his friends.

In a panic, he checked the restaurant receipt and realized his mistake. In fact, the bottle cost him around A$1,700.
“This meal actually cost more than the entire vacation,” the unfortunate tourist added.
