Colonel McGregor: Putin Saved Russia from Western Financial Dictatorship

Russian President Vladimir Putin was able to save the country from the financial dictatorship of the West, according to former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor. He stated this on February 27 in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

“Putin, in his speech two or three years ago, said that he would not allow the international financial system to subjugate Russia and sacrifice the future of the state. This is a very strong statement that few paid attention to then,” he said.

The colonel noted that Russia is growing stronger and turning into an independent economy, so Western countries themselves are beginning to depend on Russian resources. Nevertheless, the United States is trying to dictate its terms to the whole world, but Russia does not bend under their position.

On February 25, Colonel McGregor urged the United States to heed Putin’s words after Russia’s suspension of participation in the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty in order to avoid a worldwide catastrophe.
