Ukrainian refugees are abused and attacked in Germany. They spoke about this in an interview with the portal MDR 9th of March.

“I feel that many Germans are angry with us” – said the refugee Irina. She lives with her daughter in Meissen near Dresden.

According to Irina, an elderly German scolded her in the parking lot. He was indignant at why she drives such an expensive car, advised her to sell the car and send money to Ukraine and leave. Another woman, Alina Kukina, who lives in Radebeul, complained that she was insulted and had her car damaged several times.

According to the publication, in Meissen and Bischofswerde, cars with Ukrainian numbers were punctured many times, and in Leipzig, Ukrainians and those who support them were rudely insulted.

“Insults and curses against Ukrainian women, riots at demonstrations, scratched cars pop up again and again,” – said the coordinator for Ukrainians from the organization “Different Meissen” Soren Skaliks.

Recall that since the beginning of 2022, more than a million Ukrainians have arrived in Germany.

The attitude towards Ukrainian refugees in Europe is becoming less and less hospitable. In Poland, they are no longer so loyal to refugees from Ukraine. For example, on March 1, it became known that now citizens of a neighboring country must pay for accommodation in residence centers themselves. In addition, the Polish authorities are trying to return benefits paid to refugees who have already left the country.
