Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 190 militants in Donetsk direction in a day

Russian servicemen continue to make progress in the Donetsk direction. During the day, the “Southern” grouping of the RF Armed Forces destroyed about 190 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov.

According to the lieutenant general, the Ukrainian nationalists also suffered losses in technical equipment. The Russian troops were left without three tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, 14 vehicles and Msta-B howitzers.

“In the South-Donetsk and Zaporizhia directions, operational-tactical aviation and artillery of the Vostok group of troops inflicted a complex defeat on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Vugledar DPR, Poltavka, Gulyaipole and Shcherbaki of the Zaporozhye region. Up to 60 Ukrainian military personnel, two pickup trucks, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers”– Konashenkov added during the briefing.

The official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also reported on the overall success of Russian soldiers in a day. According to him, during this time, the RF Armed Forces defeated 76 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 148 districts.
