Vice-Chancellor, Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection of Germany Robert Habek arrived on a visit to Ukraine on April 3 in the morning. This is reported by the German news agency DPA.

The vice-chancellor is accompanied by a small delegation, including the head of the German Industrial Union, Siegfried Ruswurm.

During the visit, which was kept secret, issues of “restoration of Ukraine” and cooperation in the energy sector will be discussed.

“The visit is a clear signal that Europe is interested in supporting Kyiv not only in trouble, but that it sees Ukraine as an economically strong partner in the future“, – said Habek.

At the same time, the minister immediately added that he did not expect “specific investment decisions” to be made.

A month before, Head of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola came to Ukraine, also without a public warning.
