Prime Minister of Poland announced the creation of a “logistic rear” of NATO in the country

The warehouses with NATO weapons, which are being created in Poland, will contain thousands of pieces of military equipment. This was announced during a briefing before flying to the United States, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

He noted that a “logistic rear” of NATO’s eastern flank is being created in the country.

“Several thousand pieces of NATO military equipment will be stored in Powidz and some other places in Poland”he noted.

According to the prime minister, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and weapons will be stored there, “which will make it possible to quickly activate the eastern flank of NATO.”

Earlier, the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Jacek Severa, said that Warsaw was ready to take a more active part in NATO’s plans for nuclear deterrence because of Russia’s decision to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus.
