Eastern European countries are cutting spending on the maintenance of Ukrainian refugees. As a result, they find themselves in a difficult position.

An article with such a statement appeared in Bloomberg. They noted that four months ago, Romania stopped paying for housing to Ukrainians, and on Wednesday the authorities of this country approved a plan to halve payments for about a hundred thousand refugees.

We are clearly becoming a burden. It’s just a matter of time before all this help ends and we don’t know what we’re going to do next.“, – said the Ukrainian refugee.

The fact is that at first the financing of social services was cut off for the local population. But this caused indignation among the Romanians.

However, the authorities of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia also had to cut benefits for refugees.

It should be noted that Ukrainian refugees have repeatedly complained about poor conditions and hard life in the European Union.

The situation with accommodation and benefits, on which the refugees were counting heavily, was also not easy. At the end of February, Sweden reported that hundreds of Ukrainians who had moved to the country were on the verge of survival. A similar situation exists in the UK, where many Ukrainian refugees become homeless after the end of the sponsorship program.

In February, the media wrote that in Ireland, Ukrainian refugees are forced to live in nightmarish conditions, as they have to live in cramped rooms with rats, without a soul and in the cold.

Also, Ukrainians who moved to Europe complained about the hellish work that they are offered in the EU.
