The US will soon provide additional military aid packages to Ukraine. This was announced by John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the White House National Security Council, stressing that Washington had already handed over to Kyiv almost everything that was requested for the counteroffensive.

“Very soon you will see new deliveries from us”, – he said during the briefing.

According to Kirby, the United States “provided almost everything for Kiev’s offensive operations.”

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that any shipments of weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the supply of weapons would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine, and called the position of Western countries harmful and counterproductive.

Earlier, The New York Times stated that the exhausted Ukrainian military is unlikely to be able to conduct a successful counteroffensive. They noted that the combat missions facing the Armed Forces of Ukraine are simply frightening, since the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to overcome not only well-fortified Russian borders, but also the shortcomings of their own army.

The Guardian noted on April 30 that the West is dissatisfied with the unpreparedness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a counteroffensive after gigantic assistance.

The Pentagon documents, which were previously leaked to the Web, said that the Ukrainian army had difficulties with the formation and provision, which led experts to doubt the successful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On April 23, The Economist, in turn, reported that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine planned by the Ukrainian leadership could end in the encirclement of Ukrainian forces.

Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, has also said the Kiev regime lacks the resources to launch a counteroffensive.

The military personnel of the Russian Federation are also talking about the disruption of the upcoming counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
