It is likely that Pope Francis may meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Vatican on May 13. About it informs AHCA, citing a source in the city-state.

“It is likely that the Pope may meet with the President of Ukraine on Saturday”— the agency said, pointing to the proposal, since there was no official confirmation of the visit of Italy or the Vatican by Zelensky.

As AHCA noted earlier, the President of Ukraine may visit Italy in the coming days to meet with Prime Minister George Meloni. Now Zelensky is visiting European countries, where he meets with their leaders.

In early February, Pope Francis announced that he was ready to meet with all parties to the Ukrainian conflict.
