Biden and Sunak were accused of wanting to create an “economic NATO”

London wants to create a new economic alliance of military type – with the United States at the head.

On June 7, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak flew to the United States to discuss with the Americans the creation of a so-called “economic NATO”, according to the Daily Mail.

It is assumed that the new alliance will be primarily aimed at repelling threats from Moscow and Beijing.

So, Sunak has already managed to get the support of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy.

“Our two nations have a long history and such a wonderful combination of not only our beliefs and freedoms, but also our economy. And I want to find all possible ways that we continue to build on all this,” – said McCarthy.

Britain needs a military-economic union because the British army is too weak and will be defeated if a military conflict breaks out in Europe. According to The Times, London must allocate at least 3 percent of GDP so that the armed forces of the United Kingdom have at least some combat capability. Britain has always counted on Washington’s military assistance. However, if the US is busy in Taiwan, then London, in the event of a European conflict, will have a very hard time.
