The shark that killed the Russian tourist off the coast of Hurghada was decided to be mummified. Experts from the Egyptian Institute of Marine Sciences and Red Sea Reserves have already begun work, reports Al Arabiya.

According to the channel, a stuffed shark is planned to be exhibited in the museum of a scientific institution. Earlier, experts managed to extract the remains of a Russian from the stomach of an animal: head, body and hands.

It is specified that local fishermen were able to catch the sea predator. They gave the shark to scientists for research.

Recall, earlier it became known that the Egyptian authorities refused to give the relatives the remains of a Russian eaten by a shark until the end of the forensic examination.

Recall that a shark attack on a man occurred on June 8 off the coast of Hurghada. The beach where the tragedy occurred belongs to the Dream Beach Hotel. The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Egypt reported that the deceased was a 23-year-old Russian.

One of the eyewitnesses of the tragedy said that everything happened very quickly. Rescuers quickly began to bring everyone to the coast. The girl of the deceased was also in the water, they managed to save her.
