A resident of the village of Trudovoye in Primorye almost died due to a wound to her neck and thyroid gland with an arrow for spearfishing. Despite the severity of the injury, the doctors managed to save the organ, they said in the regional Ministry of Health.
“Such a wound is considered fatal, in which case the arrow did not hit the vital organs”the department said.
The victim, who, by the way, remained calm, completely trusted the doctors. The doctors promptly took x-rays, took tests and proceeded to the operation.
“Under general anesthesia, a revision of the wound was carried out, the thyroid gland was partially damaged, after removal of the foreign body, the gland was saved,” the ministry of health said in a statement.
It is also noted that the operation lasted an hour and a half and ended with minimal blood loss.
“In the morning, after the operation, the woman was already smiling, talking calmly, the hoarseness of her voice was gone, swallowing was restored. In principle, the woman was born “in a shirt,” – said the vascular surgeon “VKB No. 2” Maxim Eremenko.
How exactly the woman was injured, law enforcement officers have already figured out. It revealedthat the victim noticed how her neighbor secretly uses the electricity of the garden partnership, and told the chairman of the SNT about everything.
The latter went to investigate. As a result, a conflict arose between the men, and the attacker splashed flammable liquid towards the opponent, but accidentally hit his friend, who was standing nearby. Then he fired a harpoon at a neighbor.
It is reported that the attacker himself was also injured: he received burns on his hands. Now the man is in the hospital. He will be prosecuted for the attempted murder of two persons, committed with particular cruelty in a generally dangerous way.
