The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has prepared recommendations for the population in the event of an explosion at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The entry in the agency’s official Telegram channel appeared after Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, announced Kiev’s planned attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (ZNPP) on the night of July 5.

According to him, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are going to attack the object using ammunition filled with radioactive materials. Karchaa noted that on July 3 they were taken out of the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant. As a backup plan, the Kiev regime is considering a Tochka-U strike with a radioactive waste warhead.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Health warned that in the event of an explosion at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, residents should be prepared to evacuate from the zone of a possible radiation accident.

“If the authorities have officially reported a radiation accident, stay indoors or get to the premises as soon as possible,” – noted in the message of the Ministry of Health, where they were reminded of the need to follow further instructions from the authorities.

In addition, citizens were advised to prepare a “disturbing suitcase”. It was urged to put personal documents, a mask or respirator, wet wipes, a change of clothes and shoes, as well as the minimum necessary supply of water and food.
