In Nepal, a drunken monkey has attacked 4,000 people in the last three months. The Daily Star writes about it.
Numerous patients, including a nine-year-old boy, were treated at the Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital (STIDH) in Kathmandu following the sudden increase in monkey bites in the area.
In fact, the father of one of the victims told the Kathmandu Post newspaper that only one animal had attacked 4,000 people in the last two to three months.

According to STIDH, monkey bites are the second most common in Nepal after dog bites. The peak of monkey attacks in the country usually occurs in July and August.
