The new ‘urban environment’ will be ‘combination of jobs, residences, restaurants and shops’. A total of 7,000 office buildings and 2,000 residences are planned to be built.

Sweden plans to build the world’s largest wooden city by 2027, but conspiracy theorists believe that the future home of thousands of people could be subject to termite attacks and fires. The Daily Star writes about it.

With the Atrium Ljungberg project, which envisions the first buildings to be built within 4 years, made entirely of wood, skeptics tried to imagine how the area would deteriorate. 7,000 office space and 2,000 residences are planned to be built in Sikla, and the “urban environment” will be a “combination of business, residential, restaurant and shops”.

Atrium Ljungberg CEO Annika Ones said the construction will mark a “historic milestone” for the country’s “innovative potential”. However, along with the company’s plan to build a self-sustaining urban facility, conspiracy theorists raise a number of concerns about how the buildings will look.

The world’s largest wooden city has confused conspiracy theorists: The construction project frightens those who believe termites will destroy buildings and violent fires. People on the popular Reddit forum began to actively discuss the construction plan.

“It seems to me that termites are gaining self-awareness right now. They need a million years of evolution to take full advantage of this opportunity. They’ve been waiting for the wooden city’s return for a long time, and now it’s time to strike,” wrote one of the forum users.

While others drew attention to the possibility of a fire in the region, others stated that they were satisfied with the material selection and said, “Scandinavian countries live in another dimension.”

Previously Focus reported that the coastal metropolis was mysteriously abandoned 2,000 years ago. The city of Sopara, about 60 miles north of Mumbai, was once an important commercial center connecting Asia with Europe.

It was also learned that experts believed they had found the entrance to the “underworld”. After scanning a piece of land, the Lyobaa research team discovered several subterranean cavities and anomalies that fit the historical stories about an underground chamber system.
