It happens every summer: An angry sea lion jumps over a crowd of tourists in San Diego (video)

Despite fines, tourists get too close to animals. Japhet Perez Estrada, a resident of the area, cautioned that he understands their interest but still needs to maintain a safe distance.

On a crowded beach in Southern California, a sea lion attacked tourists who got too close despite being warned to keep their distance. Reported by the Daily Mail.

The footage was taken in La Jolla Bay in San Diego and shows the animal crawling out of the water and making its way to a crowded beach where customers try to hide in fear.

Warning signs posted around the bay warn visitors not to get too close to the animals. There are fines for those who do not follow the rules.

Local resident Japhet Perez Estrada said the animals attack and bite tourists every summer.

“Locals are uncomfortable with curious tourists because we love and respect wildlife,” he explains, adding that while he understands their excitement, you still need to keep your distance.

So, in early July, a sea lion, possibly poisoned by poisonous red algae, attacked a 14-year-old boy.

During a recent event, visitors noticed a sea lion emerging from the water and continuing towards the beach, and the assembled spectators raised their heels.

The animal moved to another relative, after which the tourists had to flee from the two lions.

According to journalists, during a recent incident, several people simultaneously approached the lions from a dangerous distance.

Recall that the Australian diver Keiron Benson escaped from the shark. He shot the marine hunter in the eye with an underwater gun, then “wrapped” his tail, trying to immobilize him and keep him away from the boat where his wife and child were.

Fishermen in Malaysia have also reportedly spent four days at sea drifting over ice boxes.
