US President Joe Biden urged Americans to take Tropical Storm Hillary seriously.

According to him, he had a conversation with California Governor Gavin Newsom. Biden noted that he continues to receive information about the potential consequences of the storm.

“My administration stands ready to provide additional assistance if needed. I urge people to take the storm seriously and listen to the authorities“- quotes Biden TASS.

Earlier it was reported that the US authorities, including President Joe Biden, are preparing for the impact of Hurricane Hillary in California. They fear catastrophic floods, landslides and mudflows.

Hilary will hit California on Monday night.
