Russian artist Alexander Marshal expressed his condolences on the death of the Italian musician Toto Cutugno, whom he called a legend.

“A wonderful person left – composer, singer Toto Cutugno. I was lucky, somehow in one of the programs I sang his song with him. And we had a little communication. You know, there was a feeling that we had known each other long before that speeches”, Marshall noted.

He added that the Italian artist had millions of fans in our country as well.

He was such a simple, kind, wonderful man. Of course, he was a legend of the time when the songs of Italian performers sounded in the Soviet Union, and these songs were played in restaurants. And everyone sang. Toto Cutugno was one of those performers”Marshall said.

The artist expressed confidence that the memory of the Italian musician will be long because he left a great legacy

“His songs will be alive, which are impossible to forget”, Marshall noted.

He thanked Toto Cutugno for being with us.
