Doctors in Bangladesh helped a monkey three times after it found itself in front of a hospital. Dhaka Tribune writes about this.

The animal was brought to the Sitakunda Upazila health complex in Chittagong following injuries allegedly caused by sitting on power lines. Doctors admitted the monkey and dressed his wounds.

Dr., a doctor at Sitakunda Upazila Medical Complex. Nuruddin Rashed said he saw the injured animal sitting on the porch of the hospital as he was about to leave work. He dressed the monkey’s wounds and the monkey left the hospital. However, the animal soon returned and its bandages were changed.

“The animal appeared to be in pain and some of the wounds on its back had begun to rot. This could be due to electric shock from sitting on power lines,” the doctor said.

The doctor checked his patient’s condition and found him sitting on a tree branch near the hospital. But unfortunately, after the third intervention of the doctors and five days of treatment, the monkey died. He was buried under the protection of the Department of Wildlife Management and Conservation.
