Trump said he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours if he became US president, media

According to the American politician, he can reach a “fair” agreement that will satisfy Ukraine and Russia.

Former US President Donald Trump said he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours if he is re-elected in 2024. According to him, he will gather Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in one room for negotiations. Trump said this in an exclusive interview with journalist Kristen Welker on NBC.

According to Trump, he is ready to end the war within 24 hours, but he did not disclose details of what exactly he would do.

“If I tell you exactly, I’ll lose all my cards,” he said.

According to Trump, he is ready to say “certain things” to Putin and Zelensky. He wants to gather politicians in one room.

“And I’ll come to an agreement,” said Trump, adding that everything would be “fair” for everyone.

The politician did not specify whether he would allow Russia to retain occupied Ukrainian territory. In his opinion, his attitude towards the Russian Federation was the harshest among other American presidents.

Trump said, “Still, I get along well with Putin. Let me tell you, I get along very well with him. And that’s not bad, it’s good. He has 1,700 nuclear missiles. So do we.” said.

Let’s remember that former CIA Director John Brennan said that Russia needed Trump to win the US presidential election.

“I think it is absolutely important for Putin that Donald Trump wins the election. Putin and Trump are members of a community of autocrats who are passionately committed to each other. And they will flatter each other and play to each other’s advantage.” said Brennan.
