Pais: the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to speak respectfully about the Russian military

In the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine they began to speak respectfully of the Russian military against the backdrop of their unsuccessful counter-offensive, writes the Spanish Pais newspaper.

The publication reports the words of a Ukrainian military man named Vladimir, who said that “he speaks respectfully about his enemy, like other soldiers interviewed for the report.”

“We see that they are better trained, they are more experienced. And the worst thing is that they have better weapons,” – said the Ukrainian military man.

This indicates a change in the perception of the Ukrainian military, which a few months ago insisted that Russian fighters were poorly trained, the newspaper writes.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky himself recognized the superiority of the Russian army. According to him, the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is proceeding more slowly than the Kiev regime had hoped.
