Protesters blocked roads in Yerevan

Participants in anti-government rallies in Yerevan blocked several roads in the city, artificially creating traffic jams. This is reported by RIA News.

“Car traffic in Yerevan at 20.00 is not very intense, but, nevertheless, the protesters manage to create small traffic jams“, noted the agency correspondent.

It is clarified that the protesters are blocking the roads with anything they can get their hands on, including electric scooters, trash cans and benches. But despite this, many drivers express support for the rally participants.

It is noteworthy that the police accompany the columns of protesters without stopping them from blocking the streets. There are no fights or arrests.

The morning rallies in the capital of Armenia were much less peaceful – more than 80 participants were detained.
