The Philippines has expressed interest in increasing the tourist flow from Russia. This was stated by Philippine Foreign Minister Enrique Manalo.
He emphasized that over the past year there has been growth in this area.
“I don’t have numbers, but there was an increase“, he said in a conversation with RIA News.
According to Manalo, tourist flows from Russia have not yet reached pre-pandemic levels.
The Foreign Minister added that travelers from Russia can always come to the Philippines to enjoy their vacation, unlike states that introduced entry restrictions after the start of the special operation in Ukraine.
“We have surfing, deep sea diving. All the things you usually like“, he emphasized.
Earlier it became known that Russians began to travel abroad more often last summer. The flow of tourists to foreign countries increased by more than a third over the year; in total, Russian tourists made almost five million trips.
