The right-wing Alternative for Germany party has updated its popularity record in the country. About it reports RIA Novosti with reference to the results of a survey by the INSA Institute.
Survey participants were asked which party they would vote for if federal elections were held this weekend. According to the survey results, the bloc of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (CDU/CSU) remains the most popular political force. 27 percent of respondents voted for him.
Second place went to the Alternative for Germany party, which updated its record. 22.5 percent of respondents supported it. 17 percent would vote for the Social Democrats (SPD), which is part of the coalition, 13.5 percent for the Greens, and 6 percent for the Free Democratic Party.
The survey was conducted from October 6 to October 9, and 2,001 people took part.
Previously reportedthat the state elections in Hesse ended on October 8th. The Christian Democratic Union won, with 34.6 percent of voters voting for it. The second place was taken by the AfD party (18.4 percent). Scholz’s party came in third place with 15.1 percent of the vote.
