Today we tried to let off some steam from the conflict in Israel. Egypt has opened access to its territory from the Gaza Strip. The UN Secretary General himself even arrived at the Rafah border checkpoint. Antonio Guterres gave a speech for five minutes about the need to help refugees, got into the car and drove away. And nothing has changed.

Palestinians have been waiting for a long time for the visit of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who today finally arrived at the Rafah checkpoint separating the Gaza Strip and the Arab Republic of Egypt. But Guterres remained on the Egyptian side. Rafah is now the only accessible transport artery. And the only way to deliver food, water, medicine, all of this in Gaza is extremely scarce.

But some difficulties have arisen between Israel and Egypt and no humanitarian aid has yet been delivered. Moreover, Tel Aviv constantly sets new conditions. And the Palestinians themselves, thousands of people, entire families, many wounded, are mostly now taking refuge in such refugee centers.

There are more and more people here every hour. And they are all waiting for help and an end to the bloody attacks, which have not stopped for the 15th day.
