Hamas spoke about mechanisms for agreeing on hostage exchange lists

The parties to the conflict submit lists of hostages for approval, but Israel is slowing down this process. This was stated by a member of the Hamas Politburo in Lebanon and the movement’s representative for international affairs, Osama Hamdan.

He noted that Israel often opposes the release of a person. As a result, Hamas will look for other ways to resolve the hostage issue so that Israel does not have a serious influence on this process.

Hamdan also said that Hamas released the Russian citizen without any conditions. This is due to the fact that the Palestinian movement highly values ​​Moscow’s fair position.

According to him, Israel is negative towards Russia on many issues, which is also influenced by the position of the United States.

“Starting from the devastating conflict in Ukraine, ending with today’s events in Gaza”said Hamdan.

He expressed hope that relations between Russia and the Palestinians will continue to develop positively.
