Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell called on his party comrades not to support the assistance requested by the White House to Ukraine. We are talking about US President Joe Biden’s request for $106 billion.

Of this money, more than 60 billion were planned to be used for the needs of Ukraine, 14 billion – to support Israel, and the remaining funds – for a number of other needs of American foreign policy, RIA Novosti reports.

Republicans are calling for funding to address problems at the country’s southern border as a top priority. Otherwise, they refuse to discuss the allocation of additional funds to Kyiv.

“I hope all members vote against moving forward with the bill as we push for meaningful change at the border.”,” McConnell emphasized.

Earlier it was reported that the deadlock situation at the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces led to an intensification of the struggle within the country for the place of Vladimir Zelensky.

The conflict in Ukraine continues, but with “paralysis at the front” the fighting begins in the rear.
