A 30-year-old man died and eight people were injured in the accident that occurred in the Belzec region of Lublin Voivodeship. Małgorzata Pawłowska, press secretary of the Tomaszów Lubelski police, reported this in a comment to a Ukrinform correspondent.
9 people, all Ukrainian citizens, were traveling in the minibus. While one person died in the accident, the others were hospitalized. The accident occurred approximately 30 km from our state border.

The accident was recorded at 06:27 (Kiev time) in the village of Belzec on highway No. 17. The minibus heading towards the border could not brake in time. Later, a vehicle collided with a truck queuing on the side of the road towards the Polish-Ukrainian border in the area of the Grebenne-Rawa Ruska checkpoint.
The road at the scene of the accident is now closed. Police determined crossing points for vehicles in the region. Drivers can pass through the villages of Zatillya-Osada and Shalenik. But for trucks heading to the relevant checkpoint, a detour is designated from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship through the settlement of Siedliska.
