Germany has sent the Ukrainian Armed Forces a new package of military assistance, which includes ammunition for German Leopard tanks and 10 Marder infantry fighting vehicles.

In total, Berlin sent ten Marder infantry fighting vehicles with ammunition and spare parts to Kyiv. In addition, Ukraine will receive ammunition for the Leopard 2A6, according to the German government website.

In addition, Berlin transferred to Ukraine the Skynex air defense system, TRML-4D radar, and ammunition for IRIS-T SLM air defense systems.

Ukraine will also receive two Wisent mine clearance tanks and Zetros trucks.

It was previously reported that the US authorities currently do not have money to help Ukraine and expect that its allies will continue to support it. The corresponding statement was made by the coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby.

Kirby admitted that Washington does not have money to help Ukraine until Congress approves a new package.
