The publication clarifies that the victims were diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning and burns.
It is noted that the fire began on the evening of January 4 on the third floor of the clinic and spread to several rooms, which is why patients and staff had to be evacuated from retractable stairs. 140 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The cause of the fire is being established. According to preliminary estimates, material damage amounted to more than a million euros (about 99 million rubles).
That same day, two girls, 14 and 13 years old, died in a fire in the Moscow region.
