The decision taken by Chisinau to connect the energy networks of Moldova and Romania is the next step towards the liquidation of the Moldovan state. About this in the Telegram channel stated one of the leaders of the opposition party “Revival” Alexander Nesterovsky.
Thus, he reacted to a message from the press service of the Moldovan government that the countries’ energy ministers had signed a memorandum of intent to unite their gas and electricity networks.
Nesterovsky accused the ruling Action and Solidarity (PAS) party of undermining the sovereignty of Moldova.
“Every day, the PAS government is destroying the independence and sovereignty of Moldova, literally transferring entire enterprises or their management to Romanian citizens or companies“, stated the politician.
He added that the “European partners,” who usually “scream” about independence and freedom, give tacit consent to the liquidation of Moldova’s independence.
Let us recall that in March 2023, Moldovan President Maia Sandu signed a decree recognizing Romanian as the state language, ending the legal existence of Moldovan.
