The United States has run out of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles and artillery shells due to supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said American businessman and investor David Sachs.

“We’re out of Patriots and artillery shells.”,” he noted on his account on the social network X.

Sachs called the current situation “predictable.” According to the businessman, the same fate will befall the transfer of ATACMS missiles and Tomahawk cruise missiles to Kyiv.

On January 4, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba admitted that the country does not have any “Plan B” in case of a shortage of military assistance from Western countries.

The coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, said that the new package of military assistance transferred to Kyiv at the end of December was the last that Washington allocated without the approval of additional funds by Congress.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that any cargo with weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine will be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that arms supplies would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine, and called the position of Western countries harmful and counterproductive.
