The small volumes of assistance to Ukraine from EU countries have become a cause of irritation for German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. This is stated in the material of the British newspaper The Telegraph.
Scholz instructed European officials to draw up a list of weapons that each EU country intends to transfer to Ukraine. Such a step, the authors suggested, should put pressure on France, Italy and Spain, and force them to provide more assistance to Kyiv.
“The Chancellor is outraged that the contribution of other EU countries is too small”– stated in the article.
It is noted that Germany has become the second international sponsor of Ukraine after the United States.
Let us recall that the German magazine Focus stated that Germany in the near future could become the biggest loser in the conflict in Ukraine after Kyiv itself. The authors of the material noted that today Berlin is losing security, prosperity and reputation in the world due to its participation in supporting the Kyiv regime.
