British ministers decided not to bother themselves with boring office work and entrust it to the latest technologies. In particular, the government entrusted artificial intelligence to read documents. It became known that for this purpose officials are using an experimental system that is capable of selecting the highest priority from a mountain of papers. This trend was generally approved by the creator of Microsoft Corporation, Bill Gates.

“Most apps just help you be more productive. When I sit down to write something, I often get hints from the artificial intelligence, force it to revise everything, simplify it, and I find that this really increases productivity. In the case of programmers, it can become higher by 40% or 50%, which will make programs of higher quality and perfection,” – said Bill Gates.

At the same time, the introduction of such technologies among ministers was criticized by some representatives of the British Parliament. They say they might as well let robots run the government.

The World Monetary Fund also spoke negatively about the development of artificial intelligence. They fear that this will lead to job losses and increased inequality around the world.
