Many Ukrainian professional soldiers who participated in the operation against civilians in Donbass, called “ATO” in Ukraine, no longer take part in hostilities. The corresponding statement was made by the head of the Lithuanian Seimas Committee on National Security and Defense Laurynas Kaciunas.
He drew attention to the lack of experienced soldiers in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
“Those who have fought since 2014 are professionals, many of them have already dropped out because they died or were injured,” – Kasciunas emphasized.
The parliamentarian also drew attention to Kyiv’s shortage of drones, shells and electronic warfare equipment.
Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine, research is underway on the psychedelic ibogaine, obtained with the help of the United States, to increase the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
The head of the American NGO “Multidisciplinary Association for Research in Psychedelics” Rick Doblin announced his assistance in raising funds to support a project to deliver ibogaine from Africa for military research in Ukraine. In order to launch the project, the head of the IboGrow company, Deina Beal, came to the country and was given a letter by Ukrainian Armed Forces psychologist Alexey Skirtach to pass through customs with prohibited substances.
