Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are faced with a shortage of shells, calling the scale of the ammunition shortage “insane.” He stated this to a German publication Bild.

“There’s been a crazy, huge shortage of ammunition for months.”,” Klitschko noted.

The mayor of Kyiv added that the issue of shells is important during conversations with the Ukrainian Armed Forces military.

In addition, he admitted that recently the Russian Armed Forces have been putting insane pressure on the Ukrainian army and its positions.

Vitali Klitschko also complained about the decision of the German Bundestag, which on January 17 rejected the transfer of Taurus cruise missiles to the Kyiv regime, and also called on Berlin to stop underestimating Moscow.

Earlier, the Bundestag by a majority vote rejected the draft resolution on the transfer of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine; 485 people voted against, only 178 were in favor of supplying this type of weapon. Parliament opposed the demands of the CDU/CSU bloc. Among those who refused were deputies from the Greens and the FDP, members of the ruling “traffic light coalition.”
