The Falcon 10 plane that crashed in Afghanistan was listed as an empty flight without passengers or cargo, a source says. REN TV.

“The plane was private. It had a valid airworthiness certificate. The flight was declared as a flight of two private pilots.”said the source.

It is noted that the aircraft was given appropriate permission to fly.

As previously stated by the Federal Air Transport Agency, Falcon 10 stopped communicating and disappeared from radar screens on the evening of January 20 in Afghanistan near the border with Uzbekistan.

The plane was flying from Pattaya (Thailand) to Russia and carried out a medical evacuation of a Russian woman accompanied by her husband. The plane landed for refueling in India, and was also scheduled to land in Uzbekistan, but the Falcon 10 disappeared from radar.

Source REN TV stated that before disappearing from radar, the Falcon 10 pilot reported that both engines had failed.

The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on violation of safety rules and operation of air transport after the crash of a plane carrying Russians in Afghanistan.
