REN TV published a video in which Carlson commented on this information, saying: “We’ll see.” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on February 5 that he currently had nothing to report about Putin’s possible interview with Carlson.

Answering a question about the reasons for his visit to Russia, Carlson admitted that he had heard a lot about our country and wanted to see it in person, communicate with people and “see how everything works.”

The former Fox News host called the American media “really crazy” for reacting violently to the news of his trip to Moscow.

Later, the Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed the information that Carlson recorded an interview with Putin. The impressions from this conversation, as Peskov added, can be judged after its publication.
