In Hong Kong, a ground staff member at an international airport died after he was allegedly hit by a plane. This was reported by a Hong Kong radio station RTHK.

It is noted that everything happened while the aircraft was being towed.

A preliminary investigation showed that the deceased was a passenger in a tractor-trailer driven by his colleague. The young man fell out of the vehicle and was then allegedly hit by a plane.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, after noticing his 34-year-old colleague was missing, found him lying on the taxiway of the airport’s western apron. Doctors who responded to the call pronounced the man dead. Law enforcement officials temporarily classified the incident as a fatal accident.

As the airport administration indicated, at the time of the incident the man was probably not wearing a seat belt. The airport management stated that it is ready to provide assistance to the family of the deceased.

Let us remind you that the accident occurred in Tajikistan. The head of the Khorog airport died there. From a gust of wind from the helicopter blades, the man fell and hit his head on the rocks. He died on the way to the hospital.
