The White House could not answer whether Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interview with Tucker Carlson, which will appear on the American journalist’s website on February 9, will have an impact.

The corresponding question was asked at a briefing to the coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council, John Kirby.

“US President Joe Biden is confident that everyone, even among the party leaders, supports financing Ukraine. I cannot tell you how much they will change their position after this interview.”Kirby said.

Earlier, on January 6, Carlson announced his interview with Putin. Then he pointed out that the Americans are absolutely unaware of what is actually happening in Russia and Ukraine. According to him, the White House twice tried to disrupt the interview with Putin.

Let us remind you that the interview will be published on the website of the head of state on the morning of Friday, February 9.

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov added that both the video and the full text of the conversation in Russian and English will appear on the website. At the same time, the publication of the interview on the Kremlin website will take place after it is published on Carlson’s own resources.
