Prince Harry is ready to return to his duties as a member of the royal family while his father, Britain’s King Charles III, undergoes treatment for cancer. About it writes British newspaper The Times.

According to the publication’s sources, since the announcement of the monarch’s illness, the prince had several “warm” conversations with him, as well as a personal meeting, during which he notified his father of plans to return to court to “correct the rift.”

On all practical levels, it makes perfect sense for the family to come together to support the king while he is ill. Much has been said on both sides in recent years, but it has never taken away from the fundamental blood ties and there are now pragmatic aspects to consider“, said the newspaper’s interlocutor.

He added that the well-being of the king, as well as Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who underwent abdominal surgery, is of paramount importance to their family.

However, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will not be able to return to court duties until a plan has been drawn up, agreed with the king.

It was previously announced that part of Charles III’s public duties would be temporarily performed by his son Prince William, Prince Harry’s older brother.

Buckingham Palace announced on February 5 that British King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer. The monarch began a course of treatment. It was clarified that Charles III will continue to perform government duties and work with documents, but he will postpone participation in public events.

Let us remind you that in January, Charles III underwent a medical examination due to an enlarged prostate, and then was hospitalized.
