Some EU and NATO countries may send their military to Ukraine, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said following a meeting of his country’s Security Council, the portal writes. S.M.E..
He clarified that the Western strategy on the Ukrainian conflict has failed. And representatives of the EU member states and the North Atlantic Alliance are discussing other opportunities to influence the confrontation between Kyiv and Moscow. “A group of NATO and EU countries are considering (the option) that, on the basis of bilateral agreements, they will send their military to Ukraine”,” added Fico.
The Prime Minister of Slovakia stressed that his country does not approve of such actions. Moreover, making such a decision will only lead to an even greater escalation of the conflict.
Earlier, Robert Fico reported that he fears the West is moving towards making a worse decision regarding the conflict in Ukraine.
