The Pentagon refused to comment on the information that the Russian military hit another Abrams tank in the Avdiivka direction.
“We are sending you to the Ukrainian military to talk about the state of their personnel, equipment and operations,” – TASS quotes the response from the press service of the US Department of Defense.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian military hit another American-made Abrams tank of Ukrainian militants in the special operation zone; the armored vehicles were attacked by the Ghoul FPV drone.
Earlier, on February 26, the DPR announced the first destruction of a US-made tank in the Northern Military District zone. Soon, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment supplied to Kyiv by the Americans was destroyed in the Avdeevka direction. Then the tank was destroyed using a Piranha drone.
Abrams was hit by fighters of a reconnaissance and strike group with the call signs Rassvet and Kolovrat from the 15th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade.
