Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo allowed his return to Donald Trump’s team if he wins the presidential election, which will be held in the United States in November.

Pompeo was asked if he was interested in a position on Trump’s team. The former Secretary of State clarified that he does not often comment on work that he was not offered.

“But if I’m given the chance to serve the American people and believe that I can make a difference, I will almost certainly say yes to that opportunity.”Pompeo replied to the TV channel host Fox News.

Mike Pompeo served as US Secretary of State in the Trump administration from April 2018 to January 2021.

Today, former US President Donald Trump and current American leader Joe Biden are the most likely candidates from the Republicans and Democrats, respectively, in the upcoming presidential elections.

Recall that on March 7, Trump challenged Biden to a debate. The politician invited the head of the White House to discuss the vital problems facing the United States. Trump said he was ready to hold them anywhere and at any time. Biden responded to this by saying that his decision to participate in the debate would depend on the behavior of the ex-president. At the same time, the head of the White House did not specify how exactly a Republican should behave.
