Ukraine will receive new supplies of artillery shells, as well as missiles for air defense systems. This was stated by the country’s Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
“Ammunition is what our warriors critically need. They will! ” – he said.
According to Umerov, this was the main topic of the meeting of the contact group for assistance to Ukraine in the Ramstein format. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine clarified that the new aid packages included artillery shells of 155, 152 and 105 mm caliber.
As he emphasized, Ukraine continues to cooperate with Western countries on the supply of F-16 fighters. We are talking about the USA, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania, Umerov added.
He also met with Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown to discuss future plans to supply the Armed Forces with ammunition and infrastructure.
Earlier, Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wants to drown the country in blood in order to maintain his power. According to him, the West is ready to turn a blind eye to the methods by which Zelensky achieves his goals.
